I t is a FREE friend
raiser event with fun and food to get the community outside to
enjoy a quiet Sunday afternoon in the gardens. The whole event is a “scavenger
hunt” with a “great race” twist and it’s appropriate for all
ages.
Get to know the gardens as you stroll
through at your own pace stopping at the many stations featuring
foods to taste, fun activities, interesting things to see.
Follow the signs that will direct you through the course or
create your own path, and pick a bouquet as you go.
“Hunt” for such things as where to taste chocolate
chip zucchini cookies. While you are hunting for the activities on the list, stop at the hula
hoop station and take a few rounds before going on, shoot a couple of
hoops, or take a swing back to your school days. |
